Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling to meet each pet's specific needs and owner preferences Handle dogs safely using animal restraint techniques to ensure both pet and groomer safety during procedures Assess each dog's coat condition, skin health, and temperament to tailor grooming plans accordingly Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitizing tools and work areas after each session Provide pet care advice to owners on grooming routines, coat maintenance, and general animal health tips Assist with pet handling during appointments, ensuring animals are comfortable and stress-free throughout the process Experience Proven experience in pet grooming or with light training needed Experience with animal handling, restraint, and pet sitting across various species including dogs and horses (equine experience is a plus) Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their concerns confidently Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or large dogs, ensuring safety at all times Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a real difference!
