Dog Groomer Full time Flexible

Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Dog Groomer, where your passion for animals and grooming expertise will shine! The flexibility of the position is perfect for someone who has to work around a schedule or who would rather work later/earlier in the day. The flexibility is up to you and appointments will be scheduled around you. You are welcome to bring your clientele and earn additional commission without having to pay for rent, utilities, supplies and all the headaches of book keeping. Flexibility will include grooming as many or as few dogs as you want during the day and working weekends to earn even more. Since you will be on commission, the more dogs you groom the more money you can make. We are growing extremely fast and with one groomer we are booked out several weeks. If you work at another shop who is flexible on allowing you to groom at other places, come speak with us and we can give you as few as a day or two a week, weekends or afternoons. Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Assess each pet's coat condition, skin health, and temperament to determine appropriate grooming techniques Handle dogs safely and compassionately to ensure both pet and groomer safety Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide pet care advice Assist with pet handling during grooming procedures, ensuring comfort and minimizing stress for the animals Assist with clean up at the end of the day Skills Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed-specific cuts and styles Knowledge of dog handling techniques to ensure safety during grooming sessions Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with pet owners and address their concerns confidently Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and standing for extended periods while maintaining a lively, positive attitude Embark on a rewarding career where your love for animals fuels every day!
