FT Dog Groomer / Pet Stylist Hair of the Dog Grooming Phoenix, AZ Job Details Full-time $75,000 - $90,000 a year 5 hours ago Qualifications Pet coat styling Pet anal gland expression Animal grooming Dog handling Pet grooming salon experience Full Job Description We are growing at a very fast pace and looking to add a groomer to the family. If you're sick of working in a rundown dump of a shop, or if you are feeling like your work goes unappreciated, is your boss unreasonable, do the owners let the customers walk all over you, then this place is for you. The entire shop has been remodeled. Equipment is all either new or in perfect working order. The shop is owned and operated by a groomer. We address issues that come up immediately, whether it be equipment or interpersonal issues. We respect what our team offers in the way of ideas, and in the work they produce. We appreciate my team as individuals and as human beings. If you've been missing that in your current situation maybe its time for a change. In the near future we will be offering mobile grooming, so if that's something you would be interested in or have experience in that's a plus. We have a full-time receptionist on staff that handles all the calls and check in/outs throughout the day. Your focus will be grooming (imagine that). The receptionist also assists groomers with bathing (if you're behind), or any general help. I am hiring an experienced professional groomer, not an aspiring groomer. You will be expected to know how to dematt/deshed, groom puppies, all breed types, and breed cuts. I am looking for a Part Time OR Full Time groomer Here's what we are NOT looking for. Someone unreliable, if you can't wake up in the morning, or are constantly "sick" this job isn't for you. Every employee is important and valuable and needed to do their job. Depending on your experience and quality of work a sign on bonus of up to could apply. Details would be discussed in interview. Very important. Include a brief introduction of yourself, work history (all dog related experience), and why you think this position is perfect for you in your response (they will be put first in line).
