DOG BATHER
(Experienced) — About us: Comfort Corner is an established dog grooming salon in the affluent Alamo/Danville market. We have loyal clients who regard their dogs as family and are regular customers
Your Role:
Professional dog bather to run the full bath cycle—pre-check (skin/ears/nails), shampoo/conditioner, de-shed, blow-dry/finish, sanitize/reset between dogs, and leave clear notes for groomers/adopters. Pay & schedule: $18hr + tips Full time 8am-1pm Mon-Fri | Predictable schedule You are: 3+ years pro experience (salon/vet/grooming facility) Safety-first, calm with seniors/large breeds Can lift 75 lbs with assist; on your feet most of shift Dependable, communicative, team-oriented Core skills: Bath/deshed/blow-dry/finish Ear cleaning, teeth brushing Nail trim Anal gland expression Brush-outs & light touch-ups (feathers, pants, undercarriage, feet, mane, chest, ears, tail) Paw-pad shave & sanitary trim
Requirements:
Two recent supervisor references Reliable transportation Humane handling + PPE/safety compliance We offer: Mission-driven team saving and rehoming dogs Training + path to Assistant Groomer/Groomer Clear SOPs and supportive culture
