Dog Groomer

Job Summary Need an experienced groomer who can groom dogs and cats. Must have own equipment. Dog Groomer - Job Requirements Proven experience as a dog groomer or completion of a professional grooming program Strong knowledge of breed-specific cuts, coat types, and grooming techniques Ability to safely handle dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels Skilled in bathing, brushing, clipping, trimming, and nail cutting Familiarity with grooming tools (clippers, shears, dryers) and proper maintenance Understanding of animal behavior and basic health indicators (skin issues, parasites, etc.) Excellent customer service skills when interacting with pet owners Ability to follow specific grooming requests and provide recommendations Patience, attention to detail, and a gentle approach with animals Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift/handle dogs when necessary Strong hygiene practices and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace Time management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently Basic record-keeping and scheduling experience (preferred) Certification in pet grooming or animal care (preferred but not always required) Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in animal care environments

Pay:

$500.00 - $2,000.00 per week
