Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Dog Groomer to join our team! In this role, you will bring your expertise in pet grooming and animal handling to ensure each dog looks and feels their best. You'll work in a friendly environment that values creativity, professionalism, and genuine care, helping dogs shine while building trusting relationships with pet parents. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing touches tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle dogs safely using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety during grooming procedures Provide pet care by monitoring dogs' health and behavior throughout the grooming process Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations and tools to uphold hygiene standards Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming preferences, special needs, or health concerns Assist with pet handling and training to ensure calm behavior during grooming sessions Support team members with general kennel duties or pet sitting as needed to promote overall animal well-being Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed-specific cuts and styles Knowledge of animal handling, restraint techniques, and pet care best practices Experience working with veterinary professionals or veterinary technician/assistant background is a plus Ability to lift heavy pets safely and comfortably while maintaining proper posture (heavy lifting) Excellent customer service skills to engage pet owners positively and professionally Familiarity with dog training techniques and animal behavior management Prior kennel experience or heavy animal handling experience is advantageous Passion for animals combined with a caring attitude and attention to detail Join us at Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming where your skills will make a difference in the lives of countless dogs!
