Dog Boutique Dog Groomer and Front Desk

Do you want to work with dogs? Dog Mah Boutique, Barkery & Spa is looking for a front desk/retail associate to help in day-to-day operations in our store! We are looking for a positive and reliable person who loves working with both people and their dogs. This position will get to feed treats to dogs all day, get to learn all about grooming and be the first face people see when they come in the store! Dog Mah Boutique, Barkery and Spa is a family-run, neighborhood favorite pet boutique and spa. We're a team-oriented store with a fun, charming feel. This is a great opportunity for any dog-loving, self-starter who wants to learn a little bit more about the industry. Daily Roles Grooming/ Bathing dogs Answer store phone and schedule grooming appointments Greet customers and grooming clients and assist with needs Keep inventory and product displays tidy and organized Can assist in developing new product/holiday displays! Ensure store is clean and properly sanitized If interested: generate content and post to our social media and marketing channels! Occasional personal bookkeeping duties for store owner Quick books, paying bills, setting personal appointments Qualifications MUST have 2+ years grooming experience (all breeds) Must be at least 18 years old due to insurance requirements. Basic computer skills Great customer service and communication skills needed, ability to connect positively with customers and coworkers Must be reliable, responsible, punctual and be able to multitask Be able to lift 50 lbs Other Details 5-8 hours shifts
