The ideal candidate will have a LOVE for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services to ensure the health and well-being of our furry clients. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for grooming pets, maintaining their hygiene, and providing excellent customer service to pet owners. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Handle animals safely and compassionately to minimize stress during the grooming process. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming sessions. Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, trends, and products to enhance service quality. Experience Previous experience in pet grooming (variety of dog breeds) is preferred. Skills in animal handling, veterinary assistance, or dog training are highly desirable. A background in customer service is beneficial for building strong relationships with clients.
