In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our care. Your love for animals and ability to handle various breeds will ensure that each dog receives the attention and care they deserve. This position requires a strong commitment to animal welfare and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Provide basic training and behavioral guidance to dogs as needed, promoting positive interactions among them. Monitor the health and behavior of each dog, reporting any concerns to management promptly. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the daycare, including play areas, kennels, and feeding stations. Assist with feeding schedules and ensure that each dog receives the appropriate diet as instructed by their owners or management. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior, needs, and any incidents that may occur during their stay. Handle heavy lifting when moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs as necessary. Engaging with clients in person and over the phone Making social media post of the dogs playing Experience The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: Dog training or handling experience, demonstrating an understanding of canine behavior. Veterinary technician or assistant experience, showcasing knowledge of animal care practices. Pet grooming skills to assist with maintaining the appearance of dogs in our care. Prior kennel or animal handling experience that reflects a strong background in pet care and safety protocols. Customer service experience to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs.
