We're building a clean, fun, and community-focused space where dogs receive safe, thoughtful, and personalized care. We're looking for a caring and reliable Dog Groomer / Pet Stylist to help provide grooming services for our clients. Grooming will start 1-2 days per week, with the opportunity to grow as demand increases. Job Description The Dog Groomer / Pet Stylist will be responsible for providing grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, trims, nail trims, ear cleaning, and other basic grooming care. This person should be comfortable handling dogs of different sizes, coat types, and temperaments while creating a calm and positive grooming experience. Because Pup Kulture is also a daycare, this role may also include light dog care support when needed, such as helping with dog handling, check-in/check-out, and maintaining a clean facility Duties & Responsibilities Provide grooming services including baths, brush-outs, haircuts, trims, nail trims, ear cleaning, and blow drying Safely handle dogs of different sizes, breeds, temperaments, and coat types Communicate grooming notes, concerns, or special care needs to management Keep the grooming area clean, organized, and sanitized Clean and maintain grooming tools, tables, tubs, dryers, and supplies Help create a positive, safe, and low-stress grooming experience for each dog Assist with customer check-in/check-out for grooming appointments when needed Support basic dog handling or daycare needs when grooming is not scheduled Follow Pup Kulture's safety, sanitation, and dog care procedures Qualifications Dog grooming experience required Comfortable performing haircuts and basic grooming services independently Experience with bathing, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and drying Able to safely handle dogs of different sizes and temperaments Patient, reliable, gentle, and professional Comfortable working in a small, growing business Able to stand, bend, lift, and work on your feet throughout the shift Able to lift up to 40-50 lbs when needed Customer service experience is a plus Schedule Part-time to start Grooming will initially be offered 1-2 days per week Opportunity for more grooming days and hours as demand grows Pay Pay based on experience. Potential for hourly pay, grooming commission/bonus, or growth opportunities as Pup Kulture's grooming services expand.
