Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet each pet's specific needs and owner preferences Handle dogs safely and confidently, using proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Assess each dog's health and behavior to identify any signs of illness or discomfort, communicating concerns to pet owners or veterinary staff as needed Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming area, including equipment sterilization and proper disposal of waste materials Provide exceptional customer service by explaining grooming options, answering questions, and ensuring pet owners are satisfied with the results Assist with pet handling during other animal care activities such as kennel cleaning or pet sitting when necessary Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming or related animal care fields such as veterinary technician or assistant roles Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling skills to ensure safe and effective grooming sessions Familiarity with veterinary procedures, animal restraint methods, and pet health assessment is highly desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and comfortably as part of daily responsibilities Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Experience working with various breeds and sizes of dogs in a fast-paced environment Passion for animals and commitment to providing compassionate care at all times Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a difference!
