PROFESSIONALLY EXPERIENCED DOG HANDLERS

to fill the following shifts:

• SEASONAL OVERNIGHT SHIFTS

• We operate 24 hours a day, so summers and all holidays are extremely busy.

We like to have additional staffing overnight. In our off peak season, when additional overnight staff is not needed, other flexible hours are available. Job duties are overseeing communal groups while they sleep, maintaining private suites that special needs dogs occupy, and attention to detail with dog behavior. Maintaining a clean environment throughout the workspace and preparing it for business the next day is an integral part of the job. They interact and play with the dogs; monitor them at all times to ensure they remain in the proper groups in order to play and exercise safely; oversee feeding and administration of medication; observe, document and communicate any issues or problems that need to be addressed with staff, management and pet owners.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Must have professional experience in a kennel environment
• Must demonstrate sufficient dog handling skills
• Ability to take direction from management
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Ability to work independently to complete tasks proficiently
• Must be able to work in a vigorous physical manner, standing or walking 90% of the workday
