Pet Groomer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team with ability to earn up to 60% commission. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care and grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets look and feel their best while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling of various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their grooming needs and preferences. Maintain cleanliness in the grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use. Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or distress during grooming sessions. Keep accurate records of services performed on each pet, including any special instructions or notes from pet owners. Experience Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate. Skills in pet care, veterinary assistance, or animal handling are highly desirable. Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners. Familiarity with dog handling techniques and knowledge of various breeds is beneficial. Experience in related fields such as veterinary technician roles, pet sitting, kennel management, or dog training will be considered an asset.
