Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Kennel Technician to provide high-quality care to the animals in our facility. This role involves animal handling, cleaning, monitoring behavior, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment. Ideal for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a physically active role. Responsibilities Provide daily care, including feeding, watering, and enrichment Clean and disinfect kennels, yards, and common areas Observe animal behavior and report concerns Assist with bathing and basic grooming Maintain accurate records Work safely with dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments Support staff and follow all protocols Be available for occasional on-call shifts Schedule & Benefits Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays | 8 AM-4:30 PM Two paid 10-minute breaks + 30-min unpaid lunch $16.90/hour 40 hours of sick pay after probation Blue Anthem Health Insurance after probation Additional hours may become available Annual pay raises dependent on work perfomance Requirements 18+ years old Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet Reliable transportation Animal care experience preferred
