Duties Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle dogs safely using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Assess each pet's coat condition and skin health, recommending appropriate grooming treatments or veterinary referrals when necessary Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and well-maintained Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions Assist with pet handling during drop-off and pick-up processes, ensuring a positive experience for both pets and owners Support pet care activities such as pet sitting or kennel duties when needed to ensure overall animal well-being Requirements Demonstrated experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed-specific cuts and styles Knowledge of dog handling techniques and animal restraint methods to ensure safety during grooming sessions Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move equipment or assist with large or heavy dogs Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Familiarity with pet care practices such as pet sitting, animal restraint, and general animal handling techniques Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a hygienic grooming environment Join us in creating happy, healthy pets while delivering exceptional grooming experiences!
