Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure each pet receives the highest quality of care, whether they are staying with us for weeks or visiting for Day Camp. Responsibilities Provide attentive dog handling and animal restraint to ensure safety during feeding, cleaning, and medical procedures Perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to keep animals comfortable and healthy Assist with dog socialization and enrichment activities while always putting safety first Monitor animals' behavior and health, reporting any concerns or abnormalities Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular cleaning and disinfecting routines Support with animal restraint when necessary Provide companionship, feeding, and exercise for pets in our care Learn and execute front desk responsibilities Interact with pet owners and provide excellent customer service Skills Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely manage dogs of various sizes and temperaments Experience with dog training techniques and basic veterinary procedures preferred Knowledge of pet grooming practices to enhance animal comfort and appearance Background in veterinary assisting or veterinary technician work is a plus Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for moving supplies or assisting with large animals Compassionate attitude combined with attention to detail ensures the best possible care for every pet Join us in creating a positive environment where pets feel safe, loved, and cared for!
