Experienced Pet Groomer

Someone who's enthusiastic about grooming 4-6 dogs a day!! Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping for dogs and other small animals with skill and attention to detail Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Assess each pet's coat, skin, and overall health to identify any issues requiring veterinary attention or special care Maintain a clean, organized grooming station by sanitizing tools, cages, and work areas regularly Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide expert advice on pet care needs Assist with dog training sessions or behavioral assessments when needed to ensure smooth handling during grooming Skills Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed-specific cuts and styles Knowledge of animal handling techniques, including dog training and restraint methods for safe grooming practices Familiarity with veterinary experience or veterinary technician background to recognize health concerns during grooming Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to handle large or heavy pets safely Excellent customer service skills to build trust and rapport with pet owners and team members Strong animal care skills including pet sitting, pet care routines, and kennel experience Competence in animal restraint and understanding of veterinary assistant responsibilities for comprehensive pet well-being Join us in creating a positive impact on pets' lives while elevating your skill/ craft in a lively, supportive environment.
