Full Job Description Pay:

$25.00 - $36.00 per hour Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for the grooming, care, and overall well-being of pets in our facility. You will work closely with pet owners to ensure their pets are groomed to their satisfaction while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Pay is base hourly + commission. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, and styling of dogs according to breed standards and owner preferences. Handle and restrain animals safely during grooming procedures to ensure their comfort and safety. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and grooming options. Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Monitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions, reporting any concerns to pet owners or veterinary staff as necessary. Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to provide the best service possible. Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming is preferred; certification in grooming is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience. Background in dog training is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple animals.
