Job Description

Shift Lead - Front Desk Support (Kennel Technician Lead) Must Love Dogs. Get paid to work, play, and care for dogs all day! We're looking for energetic, dependable dog lovers to join our fun, fast-paced team. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and spending your day with dogs, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and safely manage groups of dogs during play sessions. Monitor dog behavior, health, and social interactions. Feed dogs and administer medications as directed. Clean and sanitize play areas, cabins, and facility spaces daily. Communicate with pet parents in a friendly and professional manner. Assist with daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient shifts. Lead and support a team of 6-8 staff members during assigned shifts.
Front Desk Support:
Greet customers and their pets in a welcoming, professional manner. Check dogs in and out for daycare, boarding, grooming, and other services. Answer phones, respond to customer inquiries, and assist with scheduling appointments. Process payments and maintain accurate customer and pet records. Provide updates to pet parents regarding their dogs' stay and activities. Support daily administrative tasks to help ensure efficient front desk operations.
Qualifications:
Genuine love for dogs and comfort working with all breeds and sizes. Experience in dog daycare, boarding, kennels, veterinary clinics, grooming, retail, hospitality, or customer service settings is preferred. Leadership experience is a plus, but not required—we provide training. Strong communication and customer service skills. Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, active environment. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Basic computer skills and ability to learn scheduling and reservation software. Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed. No Experience?
