Do you want to be part of an amazing canine mission? Do you want to work with fantastic like-minded people? With SCV Pack Walk, Inc. you can achieve all of this and get paid to do it! SCV Pack Walk, Inc. is looking for part-time Pack Walkers to join our Pack! Pack walks typically take place on weekday mornings, between 8am and 12pm. During this time, you may be asked to help with dog pickup/transport (please see job requirements) and walking/handling multiple dogs as part of a group to enrich our client animals. SCV Pack Walk, Inc. prides itself on a holistic and a team-based approach, so you must be open to learning, taking feedback, and putting our canine's needs before your own. In return, we provide a nurturing environment to learn about pack behavior along with hours of exercise and fun! This is an incredibly rewarding way to be around dogs, enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle, and get paid while doing it. If you do have prior experience with dogs and understanding Dog Psychology, you may be eligible for a higher hourly compensation. However, we ask that you are open to learning new methods and practices that are unique to SCV Pack Walk, Inc. Our approach is unique in improving canine health and fixing problematic behavior, but it starts with open-minded Pack Walkers that can learn and apply the SCV Pack Walk, Inc. method.

Job Requirements:

All Pack Walkers must:

• Have a car
• Have a smartphone
• Provide proof of a valid driver's license and current car insurance
• You must be comfortable driving up to 60 minutes in town as our walk locations vary day-to-day (that's part of the fun!).
• Have good general health and can walk briskly for a minimum of an hour
• Have ability to lift 40 lbs without experiencing problematic health issues
• Be available to work mornings or afternoons in 3 - 4 hour increments
• Excellent social skills with people and their dogs
• Excellent customer service skills
• Open to learning and growing as an individual
• Stand on their feet for extended periods
• Be respectful, trustworthy and team (pack!) oriented
• Provide personal and/or professional references
• Be willing to provide a background check, to include social media

Benefits:

$16.50 - $18.00 per hour
