The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, excellent grooming skills, and the ability to handle dogs of various temperaments. Prior experience in animal handling, pet grooming, and veterinary-related fields is highly valued. Candidates should be comfortable with pet restraint, heavy lifting, and delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners. Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping for dogs of all sizes and breeds Handle animals with care and patience, ensuring their safety and comfort during grooming procedures Assist with pet restraint techniques to ensure safety for both animals and staff Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work areas Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare instructions Manage appointment schedules efficiently to ensure timely service delivery Support other animal care activities such as pet sitting or kennel duties as needed Recognize signs of animal distress or health issues and report to veterinary staff when necessary Assist with heavy lifting of animals or equipment when required Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming Strong animal handling skills with patience and compassion for pets of all temperaments Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) when necessary Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism This position offers an engaging opportunity for animal lovers passionate about pet grooming and care.
