In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional bathing and grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring they are clean, comfortable, and well-cared for. Your love for animals and attention to detail will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Gently bathe and dry pets using appropriate techniques and products. Brush and comb fur to remove tangles and mats. Inspect pets for any health issues or abnormalities during the bathing process. Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area, grooming tools, and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs. Assist in restraining animals safely during grooming procedures. Handle various breeds of dogs and other animals with care and respect. Follow all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both pets and staff. Assist Grooming with basic grooming tasks Requirements Previous experience in pet care or grooming is required. Skills in animal restraint, dog handling, or veterinary techniques are a plus. A genuine passion for animal welfare and comfort. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact positively with pet owners and team members. Physical stamina to handle the demands of bathing larger breeds or multiple pets throughout the day. Knowledge of basic pet care practices is beneficial; experience as a veterinary technician or in kennel settings is advantageous.
