Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet each pet's specific needs and breed standards Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Assess each pet's coat condition, skin health, and overall well-being to recommend appropriate grooming treatments or veterinary referrals if necessary Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide expert advice on pet care and maintenance Assist with animal handling during intake and departure processes, ensuring a stress-free experience for pets and owners.
