Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet each pet's specific needs and breed standards Handle animals with care and patience, utilizing proper restraint techniques to ensure safety during grooming procedures Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitation of tools and equipment Assess each pet's health and behavior, alerting management of any concerns or veterinary needs Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming options and aftercare instructions Assist with pet handling tasks such as dog training, dog handling, and animal restraint when necessary Support veterinary technicians or assistants with basic animal care tasks if required Experience Prior experience in pet grooming 1-2 years required Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus Background in veterinary technician or assistant roles demonstrates strong animal care skills Familiarity with kennel experience, pet sitting, or heavy lifting related to animal care is advantageous Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate pet care and exceptional customer service is essential Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
