The Dog Service Specialist team members play a vital role in our hotel's operations. The Dog Service Specialist will care for hotel guests and ensure their health and happiness while in our care. You must have a strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, and be an enthusiastic team member. Team members work together in a fast-paced, detailed oriented environment to ensure that all guest needs are met. Weekends are a must! This position would be ideal for anyone looking for extra income who has a passion for animals.
Responsibility:
Takes guests from room to play spaces and provides an engaging, personalized play session with the guest. Completes and documents notes as it relates to guests play style, energy and demeanor. Relays any concerns to Wag Hotels teams as it relates to guest's temperament. Has general knowledge of dog behavior and can assess when dogs show or exhibit signs of stress. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and moves quickly when completing tasks. Extremely thorough and has an attention to detail. Requirements Must speak and write English fluently. Must have a love of animals, and base knowledge of dog behavior. Must be a good organizer and communicator. Must be able to work under pressure and meet service deadlines. Must have patience with animals, and compassion. Courteous and professional and ability to work in a team environment. Work to establish and execute standards of Wag Hotels. Can stand for 4 hours, lift, and bend down as needed this is a physically demanding position. MUST be available to work holidays and weekends.
