Pet Bather

Responsibilities Bathe, shampoo, and rinse all size dogs and cats thoroughly Blow dry and learn how to brush out all types of coats Perform basic prep work (nail trims, ear cleaning, sanitary trims if trained) Assist groomers with handling pets safely and calmly Monitor pets for skin issues, fleas, or abnormalities and report to groomer ASAP Maintain cleanliness of bathing area, tools, and salon Help with laundry, cleaning, and daily shop upkeep Check pets in and out with owners in a friendly and professional manner Answer and make phone calls, communicate with clients, and assist with booking appointments as needed Requirements Comfortable working with pets of ALL sizes, ages, and most temperaments Able to read pet's behavior and follow safety rules Good work ethic and attention to detail Reliable and punctual (this is very important to us!) Ability to stand for long periods and lift over 50 lbs by yourself consistently PATIENCE, positive attitude and team player Preferred previous professional bathing experience. If none, tell us all of your personal bathing experience with your own animals!

Introductory / Trial

Period All new hires begin with a 120-day introductory trial period to ensure a strong fit for both the team and the role. Schedule We are looking for a part-time or full-time bather available to work weekdays and Saturdays . During your initial training period, we'll start you out with 10-15 hours weekly for the first few weeks and increase it depending on your schedule and performance.
