Position:

This role is an integral position at Scenthound, offering expert dog knowledge, and providing haircuts and related grooming services. Qualifications At least one year of dog grooming/trimming experience. Knowledge of dog breeds, care standards, and tools of the trade Effective communication with team members and dog parents Problem-solving skills Strength to lift up to 70 pounds; stamina to stand for long periods of time Reliable transportation

We are searching for a confident dog professional who has a passion to care for the health and wellbeing of dogs! A successful Dog Groomer/Trimmer is perceptive, patient, adaptable, compassionate, and knowledgeable of how best to care for dogs' skin, coat, ears, nails, and teeth. Tasks Provide haircuts and other grooming services that adhere to Scenthound standards Prioritize the safety of dogs and team members at all times Support an environment conducive to learning, open communication, and teamwork Identify when and where help is needed and provide assistance to keep Scenter on schedule Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Lead Groomer/Trimmer and/or Scenter Manager
