Part-time Retail Associate-Pet Care

We are looking for part-time friendly, responsible, hard-working, pet-loving individual to join our team. Must have reliable transportation and be available to work 10-20 hours per week with shifts any day of the week scheduled between the hours of 8:45am-7:30pm As a Team Member you will be responsible for helping our furry customers and humans in the retail store and self-wash, ensuring they have a clean and friendly environment. Because you'll be working with beloved pets and their humans, customer, service skills are a must! What You'll Do As a Team Member, you will be responsible for providing a pawsitive, rewarding experience for your furry customers and their parents!

This includes:

Greeting guests with a positive, outgoing, 'ready-to-help' attitude as they enter the store. Ensuring a great environment by stocking and cleaning the store and self-wash, including sanitizing tubs, mopping floors, cleaning windows and walls, doing laundry, vacuuming etc. Assisting neighbors in the self-wash--guiding them to use the right products and processes for their pups, and ensuring they always have all the necessary items like towels and brushes at hand. Running the cash register Helping customers find specific products, offering recommendations on products and food based on customers' needs. Promoting special sales, offers and awareness of store loyalty programs and events while interacting with our neighbors. Assisting the shift supervisors, managers and owners with putting away inventory, building displays, tagging items, and other retail tasks. What You Need to Get the Job Done Great attitude and willingness to work hard Strong sense of personal accountability and reliability Love of dogs! Previous customer service and cashier experience a plus . What Will Make Us REALLY Love You Previous retail experience. Previous pet supply experience. Exemplary comprehension and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with pet parents on their concerns, wants, and needs. Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as the ability to collaborate with other team members when necessary. Strong motivation and desire for personal success, continually learning about Wag N' Wash as a brand, as well as our products. Passion and love for pets and a commitment to the well-being of companion animals.
