Job Description
Kennel Attendant Clayton, DE | Part-Time | $18/hr Do you love dogs and aren't afraid of hard work? Training Tails is looking for dependable, energetic team members to help care for our four-legged clients. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for people who want to spend their day surrounded by dogs, not sitting at a desk. Position This position is specifically for kennel help on Saturday and Sundays. The shift is from 7:00-4:00. You would be feeding, exercising, as well as cleaning and maintaining kennels for our weekend clients. You will be expected to be able to work independently and be compentent at completing tasks and following company protocals. What You'll Do Supervise, handle, and engage with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Keep our facility clean and safe (yes, this includes cleaning up after dogs). Feed, manage, and care for our weekend boarders. What We're Looking For Dependable & on time — our clients (and their dogs) count on us every single day. Consistent attendance is a must — our dogs rely on seeing familiar, trusted faces every day. This role is not a good fit if you have frequent conflicts or are unable to commit to your scheduled shifts. Experience handling dogs preferred (personal or professional). Solid understanding of canine body language & behavior. Able to be on your feet for long periods and lift at least 20 lbs . Comfortable working indoors & outdoors in all weather. Must be 18+ with reliable transportation to Clayton, DE Hours & Pay 16 hours a week ; 8 on Saturday and 8 on Sunday. Pay is 18/hr Why Join Training Tails?
