Overview Join our dynamic team at The Pack Pet Services as a Mobile Pet Groomer and bring professional pet care directly to our clients' doorsteps! Locations include Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Long Neck, Milton, Milsboro, Georgetown, Milford… As a Mobile Pet Groomer, you'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with our pet owners while delivering top-tier grooming and animal care services. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and love for animals will make a positive impact on pets' lives every day. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive pet grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping for dogs and other small animals. Handle animals with care and confidence, utilizing animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and yourself. Maintain a clean and sanitized grooming environment within the mobile unit, adhering to health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide professional advice on pet care. Manage scheduling appointments efficiently while ensuring timely service delivery across multiple locations. Assist with pet handling during grooming procedures, demonstrating expertise in dog training, animal handling, and veterinary-related tasks when necessary. Perform light maintenance of grooming equipment and supplies to ensure optimal operation during each appointment. Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care roles. Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal restraint methods to ensure safe grooming sessions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting of animals and equipment throughout the workday. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Able to pass a background check. Preferred that you provide your own professional level grooming equipment , however this is negotiable. This is a new service for our company and so we cannot guarantee a minimum amount of work, however after polling existing clients there is a good amount of interest In this new service. Once a core clientele has been established we are open to transitioning you to a Commission based pay scale of preferred.
