We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Boarding Attendant to join our animal care team. The Boarding Attendant provides daily care, supervision, and enrichment for boarded pets to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role maintains a clean, organized boarding environment, while delivering compassionate care and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work with animals, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment

• Must be available for holidays and weekends
• Responsibilities Feed and provide fresh water to boarded pets per instructions Clean and sanitize kennels, suites, play areas, and common spaces Safely handle pets for walks, exercise, and enrichment Monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, or health and report concerns Maintain accurate care, feeding, and medication logs Assist with bathing, brushing, or basic grooming (if trained) Laundry, including bedding, towels, and toys Follow all safety, sanitation, and biosecurity protocols Assist with pet check-in and check-out as needed Provide friendly, professional customer service to pet owners Work Environment Indoor and outdoor settings Exposure to noise, odors, cleaning chemicals, and animals Physically active, hands-on role Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Ability to safely handle dogs and/or cats of all sizes and temperaments Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Must be able to work weekends and holidays Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in pet boarding, daycare, shelter, or animal care Knowledge of animal behavior and stress signals Customer service experience Fear Free or animal-handling certifications (a plus)
