Experienced Dog Bather / Grooming Apprentice Opportunity

Luxe Pup Studio is looking for an experienced dog bather to join our grooming salon part-time. We are looking for someone who already has dog bathing experience, is comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, and can help keep our grooming days running smoothly. This position is currently for a dog bather, but there may be an opportunity to learn grooming for the right person who is dependable, motivated, and shows strong potential.

Luxe Pup Studio, Brandon, FL Responsibilities Bathing dogs of all sizes Blow drying dogs completely and safely Brushing and combing dogs before and after baths Trimming/grinding nails Cleaning ears Assisting with grooming prep Helping keep dogs comfortable and safely handled Keeping the bathing area clean and organized Cleaning tubs, kennels, tools, and work areas as needed Helping the groomer keep the day moving smoothly

Requirements:

At least 1 year of professional dog bathing experience required Experience handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments Must be comfortable with small dogs, large dogs, puppies, and senior dogs Must know how to properly bathe, dry, brush, and prep dogs Nail trimming experience preferred Must be reliable and on time Must have a positive attitude Must be able to work independently and take direction Must be gentle, patient, and confident with dogs Must be able to work in a busy grooming salon environment

Preferred:
