Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team as an Outdoor Services Helper specializing in pet waste removal and lawn care! In this energetic role, you will be instrumental in maintaining beautiful, clean, and safe outdoor spaces for our clients. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure that lawns, landscapes, and pet areas are pristine and well-kept. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in landscaping, gardening, and outdoor maintenance while working in a lively, team-oriented environment. Duties Remove pet waste from lawns, yards, and designated outdoor areas efficiently and hygienically Assist with lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and general landscape maintenance using hand tools and power equipment Support landscape projects including planting, gardening, irrigation setup, and hardscape installation Operate small machinery such as excavators or snow plows when needed for seasonal tasks or larger projects Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance Assist with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and basic tree health assessments Maintain cleanliness of work sites by disposing of debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed Requirements Mechanical knowledge or experience with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment Basic understanding of lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture, and gardening practices Ability to operate small machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree trimming techniques, and hardscape installation is desirable Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions Prior experience with construction or outdoor maintenance is beneficial but not required Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards Join Amelia Island Poop Scoopers Landscaping to make a tangible difference in outdoor spaces while building valuable skills in landscaping and pet waste management AND dog walking!
