In this role, you will deliver exceptional grooming services that enhance the health, hygiene, and appearance of our furry clients. Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing for a variety of dog breeds and other small animals Handle animals with care and patience, ensuring their safety and comfort during grooming procedures Utilize animal handling techniques to properly restrain pets for grooming tasks Provide pet care advice to owners regarding grooming routines and maintenance between visits Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and work areas in compliance with health standards Assist with dog training activities when needed to improve behavior during grooming sessions Support veterinary technicians or assistants with basic animal handling or restraint tasks as required Qualifications Proven experience as a professional groomer with a strong portfolio of completed work Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is highly desirable Familiarity with animal handling, restraint, and pet grooming tools and products Experience working with veterinary technicians or assistants is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects (heavy lifting) such as large dogs or equipment safely and efficiently Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners Prior kennel experience or pet sitting background is advantageous Strong animal care skills including pet grooming, animal restraint, and general pet care knowledge Join us in creating a positive experience for pets and their owners!
