We are an award-winning team of professional pet sitters and dog walkers covering Northeast and Central Florida. Our mission is to uplift and inspire our local community through our work with pets and their families, and we are looking for a true animal lover to help us do just that through providing pet sitting and dog walking! As a dog walker and pet sitter, you would drive to client's homes and care for their pets in 30 or 60 minute visits. There is a lot of variability in our work as every pet and every family has different needs. This role requires a lot of driving, and good time management. You would provide occasional drop-in visits and dog walks for our clients in their homes. You should be able to service clients in the 32225 zip code and surrounding areas. Becoming part of the Bad to the Bone team is a great source of supplemental income for someone with a flexible schedule! There are no guaranteed hours for this position, and you will likely not receive hours every week.

• This is a great job for retirees, at-home parents, and college students
• This is a position working with animals, usually outdoors, so you must be ready, willing, and able to handle yucky smells, untrained dogs, rain, and Summer heat with a positive and upbeat attitude. This is not regular work
• you should have a separate reliable source of income.

Requirements:

• be 18 years of age or older
• pass a background check
• have flexible availability, including overnight availability. Most clients request morning, midday, and evening visits; however, they may request any time, day or night.
• have reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 30 minutes for visits
