Animal Care & Sanitation Technician Key Largo, FL 33037 From $14 an hour - Part-time From $14 an hour - Part-time Overview Join our dedicated team as an Animal Care & Sanitation Technician and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our animals and staff. In this energetic and essential position, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and animal handling to support the well-being of animals in our care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a animal shelter setting where your attention to detail and compassion make a real difference every day. Duties Feed and provide fresh water to cats according to daily schedules Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and litter areas Maintain cleanliness of floors and overall shelter environment Provide basic interaction and comfort to cats (handling, socialization) Follow sanitation and safety protocols to ensure a healthy environment Assist with daily care routines as needed
