Boarding Caretaker

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Boarding Attendant & Dog Daycare Worker to join our veterinary team. This position involves caring for pets in our boarding facility and daycare, ensuring their comfort, cleanliness, and well-being while maintaining a safe and organized environment. Responsibilities:

Provide daily care, feeding, and exercise for boarding and daycare dogs. Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces. Monitor pet behavior, health, and overall well-being, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff. Supervise and engage dogs in group play, ensuring a safe and fun environment. Assist with bathing and basic grooming as needed. Administer medications as directed by veterinarians or pet owners. Greet pet owners, provide updates, and assist with check-in/check-out procedures. Maintain accurate records of pet care, feeding, and any special instructions.

Qualifications:

Experience in animal care, kennel work, dog daycare, or a related field preferred. Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Passion for animal welfare and providing top-notch care.
