Dog Groomer Paradise Pet Salon Riverview, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time 6 hours ago Qualifications Companion animal handling Nail care Interpersonal skills Scissors Schedule management Attention to detail Dog handling Time management Full Job Description Job Overview Dog Groomer We are looking for a skilled and passionate Part-Time Dog Groomer or full time to join our team! Our salon focuses on providing a calm, low-stress grooming environment where every dog receives individualized care and attention.
Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday full time Wednesday - Saturday part time 8:30 AM - 4:00
PM Compensation:
45-50%
Commission Responsibilities:
Perform full-service dog grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and haircuts Execute both basic grooms and advanced breed-standard haircuts Ensure each pet is groomed safely, comfortably, and to the owner's specifications Maintain a clean and organized grooming station and equipment area Manage grooming schedule efficiently to complete 4-5 dogs per day minimum Communicate professionally with staff regarding pet needs or concerns Assist with basic pet handling and ensure pets remain safe and comfortable during their stay
Requirements:
Previous professional dog grooming experience required Must provide a portfolio of previous grooming work Must supply your own grooming equipment (clippers, blades, scissors, brushes, etc.) Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments Strong time management skills and ability to stay on schedule Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment when needed Passion for animal care and maintaining a positive experience for pets
