The ideal candidate MUST have talent, patience, and work well with dogs, AND people!!! Must have expertise in all breeds, including standard cuts, styles, and de-matting. Pay commission, tips.

• Sign-on bonus of $1,500.00 after 90 days.
• W-2, commission base with tips.

Requirements:

• Must have Salon experience and be able to provide references.
• The groomer should be able to bathe, blow/fluff dry, brush out and/or de-shedding, clean and/ or pluck ears, clip and/or Dremel nails
• Hand scissoring skills and knowledge of all breed cuts.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills and understands the value in developing strong relationships with customers
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment, independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a gentle approach when dealing with animals and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have a great attitude, be punctual and reliable.
• Has a stylish and professional appearance and takes pride in presenting him/herself as a reflection of our salon.
• Must have grooming tools.

Summary As an Experienced Dog Groomer, you will contribute to the health, comfort, and presentation of our canine clients while upholding high standards of safety and care. Reporting to the salon supervisor, you will apply core grooming skills, manage grooming appointments, and maintain a clean, calm environment. Your premium capabilities in training, veterinary-related tasks, and handling will support both pet well-being and client satisfaction. With strong customer service and communication, you will build client rapport and ensure a positive, stress-free grooming experience for every companion animal. Responsibilities Greet clients and discuss grooming goals, temperament, and any known medical or behavioral concerns for each dog. Safely handle, restrain, and manage dogs during bathing, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and styling, using appropriate tools and techniques. Perform grooming services to premium quality, including coat brushing, trimming, styling, and blow-drying, while ensuring comfort and safety. Maintain a clean, organized grooming station and sanitize tools between tasks; track appointments and maintain client records. Provide exceptional customer service, build client rapport, and communicate recommendations for at-home care and future visits.
