Founded by a family of dog lovers, The Wagging Club started as a dream to create a haven for pups and cats of all shapes and sizes. With years of experience in pet care and a genuine love for animals, we set out to build a place where dogs and cats can play, relax, and feel right at home. We are looking for people that have the same passion for animals, and who want to work hard alongside us as we grow and provide the best care for our client's pets.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Pet Daycare Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will love dogs and cats, understand their needs, and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience while at our facility. This role involves supervising dogs in playgroups, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service to pet owners. We are looking for someone who will enjoy getting to know all our dogs and cats, and that will treat them as their own.
Pay:
$14-$16 Full-time and Part-time available.
Shifts:
M-F 6:30-1:15pm and 1pm-7:30pm, Saturdays and Sundays 6:30-1:15 and 1:00pm-7:30

Responsibilities:
Supervise and interact with dogs in playgroups, ensuring their safety and well-being. Monitor dog behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent fights or injuries. Clean and sanitize play areas, kennels, and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment. Keep facilities and pet items organized and running smoothly. Transition large groups of dogs to and from play areas and boarding kennels. Feed, water, and administer medications to dogs as required. Provide exercise, enrichment activities, and socialization for dogs. Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on their pets' activities and behavior. Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, may include updating records and handling payments. Observe and report any signs of illness or injury to the management. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for dogs and staff. Assist with grooming, bathing, and basic care as needed. Help with cat boarding and playtime.
Requirements:
Genuine love and compassion for animals. Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds. Strong observational skills and the ability to recognize and respond to changes in dog behavior. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment. Be accountable and on-time. Openness to cross-training. Completion of Dog Guru, CPR, and First Aid courses
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required Previous experience working with dogs or in a pet care environment is preferred. Physical stamina to be on your feet for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
