This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to handle various breeds of animals with care and compassion. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircut design, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming options and pet care advice. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Handle pets safely during grooming procedures, using proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety. Assist in managing kennel operations as needed, including monitoring the health and behavior of pets in your care. Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming field is a must. Strong animal handling skills with the ability to work with various breeds and temperaments. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger animals or equipment. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential.
