Front Desk & Sales Associate Pet Grooming & Retail

We are looking for an animal lover who is organized, responsible, sales-driven, and has a positive attitude to join our team. This role is key to daily operations and combines customer service, sales, inventory control, and support to the grooming team. Requirements Experience in pet grooming and/or pet retail (required) Knowledge of pet products (food, treats, care) Experience with DaySmart Pet or similar POS/scheduling systems (preferred) Bilingual (English/Spanish) - required Experience in inventory management Knowledge of expiration control and product rotation (FIFO) Experience working with vendors and placing orders Strong sales skills (upselling & cross-selling) Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Must enjoy working with pets Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in-store and over the phone Manage grooming appointments (booking, confirmations, changes) Process payments (POS) Drive sales of products and services Recommend products based on pet needs Maintain inventory accuracy (physical and system) Monitor expiration dates and rotate products (FIFO) Coordinate orders and communicate with vendors Assist with merchandising, promotions, and displays Maintain store cleanliness and organization Provide basic support to groomers when needed Work collaboratively with the team Compensation & Benefits W-2 position Competitive pay (based on experience) Professional work environment Growth opportunities
