Professional Pet Groomer

Job Overview:

We are offering a senior grooming position. We have premium spa grade wash tubs for you to use and a back room to hold equipment and tables. 50/50 splits on grooming revenue paid out every week. By leveraging our established location, you can maintain your existing client base while attracting new clients effortlessly. With the ability to expand your services and optimize your operations, you can take your business to new heights. Furthermore, you would have the opportunity to promote a variety of products such as organic pet treats, supplements, food, toys, and more to your clientele. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join . As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of dogs, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who have a love for animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims for dogs, cats, and other small animals
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, and recommend appropriate grooming techniques
• Handle animals with care and ensure their safety during the grooming process
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing clients' needs and concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
• Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during the grooming process
• Follow proper animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the pet and groomer
• Collaborate with veterinary professionals when necessary to address any health concerns

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pet grooming or a related field
• Strong knowledge of different grooming techniques for various breeds of dogs and cats
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
• Knowledge of animal behavior and ability to handle animals with patience and care
• Familiarity with basic veterinary procedures is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy animals if necessary
