Pet Groomer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team. As a Dog Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of dogs while providing exceptional grooming services. You will work closely with dog owners to understand their grooming needs and preferences, ensuring that each dog leaves looking and feeling their best. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling for various breeds of dogs. Assess the condition of dogs coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming techniques and products. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards. Help the team with routine cleaning at the end of each shift. Communicate effectively with dog owners regarding grooming options, aftercare, and any observed health issues. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety during grooming sessions. Provide additional services such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing as needed. Keep accurate records of each dogs grooming history and preferences for future reference. Skills Experience in dog grooming is required. Knowledge of various dog breeds' grooming requirements is essential. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques to ensure safe handling during grooming sessions. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and understand their needs.
