Experienced Dog Groomer

About the Role We're a busy grooming shop with a loyal client base and a team that takes the work seriously. We're keeping this position open because culture and fit matter to us — we'd rather wait for the right person than fill a seat. If you're experienced and take pride in your work, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Do Provide full grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, de-shedding, nail care, and ear cleaning based on breed standards and client requests Handle dogs of all sizes, coat types, and temperaments calmly and confidently Communicate with pet owners about expectations, preferences, and any coat or skin concerns you notice Keep tools clean, sharp, and in working order Maintain a clean and organized workspace between appointments Update grooming notes and client preferences in our booking system Work with the front desk team on scheduling and daily operations What We're Looking For At least one year of hands-on grooming experience with breed-specific knowledge Confident handling dogs of varying temperaments, including anxious or difficult dogs Able to stand for extended periods and assist with lifting larger breeds Weekend availability depending on client demand Someone who communicates well with both clients and coworkers Compensation & Perks $1,000-$1,500/week based on experience and production Employee discount Pet food at cost Flexible schedule Professional development support A booked calendar — our groomers aren't waiting around for clients To Apply Apply through Indeed.
