Responsibilities Take dogs on daily walks, ensuring they receive proper exercise tailored to their needs and energy levels Provide pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication, and engaging in playtime activities Handle animals with care, using appropriate animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and handlers Maintain clean and safe environments during pet visits, including grooming and basic animal care tasks Monitor pet behavior closely, recognizing signs of distress or health issues that may require veterinary attention Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' activities, health status, and any concerns during visits Assist with pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing when needed, ensuring pets feel comfortable throughout the process Qualifications Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus Familiarity with animal restraint methods and basic pet grooming skills Strong customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and provide excellent communication Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling supplies or assisting larger animals Experience with veterinary technician or assistant roles, equine experience, or kennel work is advantageous Passionate about animal welfare with a responsible attitude towards safety and care standards Embark on a fulfilling journey caring for animals while developing your skills in a lively environment dedicated to pet happiness!
