Job Description

Part-Time Animal Care Assistant Heritage Puppies
  • North Iowa Heritage Puppies is a family-owned and operated dog breeding and animal care business seeking dependable part-time help approximately 30 hours per week.
This position involves hands-on daily animal care along with general responsibilities around the property and facility. Hours may vary somewhat depending on season and business needs. ###
Responsibilities:
  • Feeding and watering animals
  • Cleaning and sanitizing kennels and work areas
  • Monitoring animal health and behavior
  • Assisting with routine daily care
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
  • General work around the farm and property ###
Qualifications:
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working around animals daily
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail-oriented and observant
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting, and cleaning throughout the workday Previous animal experience is helpful but not required for the right person.

  • Approximately 30 hours per week
  • Starting pay: $20/hour
  • Flexible and negotiable scheduling
