Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled All Breed Dog Groomer to join our dynamic pet care team! In this energetic role, you will provide exceptional grooming services for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, ensuring each pet looks and feels their best. Responsibilities Perform professional grooming services for dogs of all breeds, including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing touches. Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety for pets and staff. Assess each dog's coat condition, skin health, and temperament to tailor grooming procedures accordingly. Maintain a clean, organized grooming area by sanitizing tools and workspaces regularly. Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide expert advice on pet care. Assist with pet handling during grooming sessions, ensuring gentle yet secure restraint to facilitate quality work. Stay updated on current grooming trends, breed standards, and best practices in animal handling and care. Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming, especially with dogs of various breeds (All Breed Groomer). Strong animal handling skills with knowledge of dog training, behavior management, and restraint techniques. Familiarity with veterinary procedures or veterinary technician/assistant experience is a plus. Knowledge of pet care basics including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards. Ability to lift heavy objects (heavy lifting) such as large dogs or equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with pet owners.
