Job Description The Dog Retreat Center (www.dogretreatcenter.com) is a dog training, daycare, and boarding facility located in Garden City. We offer a variety of training programs as well as daycare and boarding for our training graduates. We're excited to offer a culture where people and dogs can achieve their goals in a safe and supportive environment. If you have experience working at a dog daycare or training and have been looking for a company where you can be active, see tangible results, and get to work with dogs- read on! And if you've worked in the dog daycare industry and want a calm and quiet environment where you are also supported and learn training tools - that is what we offer. One of the unique things about the Dog Retreat Center is that we have someone who stays with the dogs at night. We believe in providing that confidence that someone is there and that the dogs can keep to their normal daily schedule. The overnight position is responsible for ensuring meals and medications are done (in the AM), getting dogs out between 8 PM-10PM , and being there to support dogs if they need to get out in between the hours of 10PM-6 AM. We are looking to hire 1-2 people who can do 1-3 nights/week. The training program would be 3-4 weeks during day to learn our training methods and processes before starting overnight shifts.
