Responsibilities:

High Standard Grooming:

Perform high-quality grooming services, including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling based on breed standards or owner requests.

Essential maintenance:

Provide basic care such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland expression.

Charting:

Make concise and efficient groom notes in every client's chart. Maintain a "Clean-As-You-Go"

Workstation:

You are responsible for sanitizing your tools and clearing your station between every dog.

Shared Shop Success:

Participate in daily shop cleaning duties (sweeping, laundry, and sanitizing common areas) to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

Outstanding customer service:

Communicate effectively with pet parents to ensure their satisfaction, maintaining an upbeat and positive demeanor.

Be adaptable and versatile:

Handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with patience and care. Meet conflicts and challenges with calm and professionalism.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Dog Groomer (portfolio or photos of work preferred). Expertise in various breed standards and hand-scissoring techniques. A "team player" attitude—no task is too small when it comes to the safety and health of both pets and people. Ability to stand for long periods and handle larger breeds.
